About Me
I have been working as a certified Counselor since 2017. I specialize in helping people identify and achieve their personal goals by coping with the issues that are causing them distress, anxiety, and stress. I take great pride in the progress and success of my clients, and look forward to helping you.

Mission
Being a therapist is one of the most meaningful parts of my life. I consider it a privilege to walk with people as they reconnect mind, body, and self — not by fixing what’s “broken,” but by helping them rediscover what’s already within them. In session, you’ll find that my style is direct, empathetic, and focused on real, achievable change. Wherever you are in your journey, I’ll meet you there — no judgment, no pressure, just honest support and steady progress.

The heartbeat of my practice is hope — not blind optimism, but a belief that even in pain, growth is possible. Hope isn’t something we wait for; it’s something we build. When you can’t see it, I’ll hold it for you until you can. That belief in your capacity for change is what drives my work and keeps me grounded in why I do what I do.

My goal is to help you reach your fullest potential through compassion and structure — not criticism or quick fixes. I draw from both my professional training and my personal experiences to guide our work together. Whether we’re addressing eating patterns, body image, or trauma, we’ll turn those struggles into stepping stones for healing and resilience. Together, we’ll move from surviving to rebuilding — from suffering toward endurance, character, and hope.
My Story
I’m a counselor who works with people facing disordered eating, addiction, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. But beyond any diagnosis or label, my focus is helping people rediscover who they are beneath the struggle. My work is rooted in one thing: hope. Not the kind that ignores pain, but the kind that grows through it. I’ve seen what happens when people stop running from what hurts and start learning from it — it changes everything.

My path to becoming a therapist started long before graduate school. As a teenager, I wrestled with depression, anxiety, confusion about who I was, and patterns of coping that left me empty. After surviving a suicide attempt, therapy became the lifeline that helped me rebuild. It didn’t fix me overnight — but it gave me tools, clarity, and a sense of purpose that changed the direction of my life. That’s when I knew I wanted to do this work.
From my time at Lake Highlands High School in Dallas, through Texas Tech, and later earning my master’s in counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary, that calling never left. My education shaped my skillset, but my story shaped my heart for this work. I understand what it’s like to sit on both sides of the room — to feel lost and to find hope again.

In our sessions, you’ll find that I’m straightforward and compassionate. I believe in creating a space where honesty matters more than perfection, and where we can work through what’s real. Whether you’re facing anxiety, recovering from trauma, or trying to repair relationships, my goal is to help you build endurance, character, and ultimately, hope.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. You just have to take one step. If you’re ready to start confronting what’s been holding you back — to face it with support and courage — I’m here to walk with you. Together, we’ll work toward a life that feels stronger, steadier, and more like you.
